As the New Year approaches… it’s time for some reflection!
It’s the last newsletter of 2019 and I’d like to share with you my three highlights of the first 6 months in business. After attending a recent networking meeting where we all celebrated our three proudest achievements of the year, I’m hoping to inspire others as I share mine with you…
I’m still here!
Starting a business was a risk and nobody can prepare you for the challenge.
It was a hard slog just as I expected it would be, late nights, early starts, skipping the gym and a fair few glasses of wine!
However, I reached my ‘client-goal’ sooner than expected and over the past 4 weeks I’ve actually stopped taking on clients. As you can see, I’ve not been writing blogs and I’ve not been marketing my business…however in January I’ll be taking Flamingo Marketing Strategies to the next stage of business growth.

An incredible job offer!
Two months after starting with one particular client and driving over £20,000 of revenue from 2 campaigns, the owner turned round and offered me a full time role and the opportunity to build and lead an in-house team. An incredible offer and a huge compliment. I’ll certainly be asking for a testimonial!
Clearly I politely declined as I’ve come too far with my business to park it now, however we have agreed that I will build a marketing team for their business and continue to lead on the marketing strategy in 2020.
Exciting times ahead…
One becomes TWO!
I’ve made the decision to employ!
I never dreamed I’d be in a position to have a ‘waiting list’ within 6 months of launching, not to mention the fact that I’m starting to forget what a work-life balance feels like (despite preaching it’s importance to everyone else!)…therefore, it’s time to call in some help.
I’ll be introducing my FLAMAZING Business & Marketing Administrator in January and I’m so excited about the opportunities this decision has unlocked for the business in 2020.
I’m wishing you all a very merry Christmas full of fun, laughter and happiness and I can’t wait to see what happens in the New Year.
